EPA EMISSION-RELATED CI GENERATOR MODEL WARRANTY

Effective 01/01/2011, applicable to CI generator models equal to and larger than SD80

Effective 01/01/2012, applicable to CI generator models equal to and larger than SD35.

Effective 01/01/2013, applicable to all CI generator models.

Your emission-related warranty covers only components whose failure would increase an engine'semissions of any regulated pollutant where they are designed, built, and equipped to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under applicable regulations of section 213 of the clean air act. To receive informa- tion about how to make an emission-related warranty claim, and how to make arrangements for authorized repairs call 1-800-333-1322 or wwwgenerac.com. Emission-related warranty claims may be denied without proof of proper maintenance or use, accidents beyond the control of the manufacturer, or acts of God. Proper maintenance is specified in the owners manual. Usage is limited to stationary emergency operations and 100 hours per year for maintenance and readi- ness testing. The warranty period begins when the engine is placed into service. Warranty periods: Compression ignition engines rated> 25 HP is 5 years.
