Change the oil as follows:
•To keep dirt, grass clippings, etc. out of the engine, clean the area around the drain plug and dipstickbefore removing it.
•Remove the oil drain plug and oil fill plug. Tilt the engine slightly towards the oil drain to obtain better drainage. Be sure to allow ample time for complete drainage.

•Reinstall the drain plug. Tighten securely.
•Fill the crankcase with new oil of the proper type (See Adding Engine Oil in the Operation Section), oil capacity is 20 oz/.0.6 liters.

•Reinstall the oil fill plug and tighten securely.
•To service
•To service cartridge, clean by tapping gently on a flat service. Do not oil cartridge. Replace if dirty or damaged.
•After servicing place
•Insert tabs on cover into slots in bottom of base.
•Tilt cover up and fasten securely with screw.
Clean Engine
Periodically remove debris buildup from engine. Do not clean with a forceful spray of water because water could contaminate fuel system. Clean with brush or compressed air.
Daily or more often, before
running engine, clean muffler area to remove all combustible debris.

Service Air Cleaner
NOTE: Do not use petroleum solvents, e.g., kerosene, which will cause the cartridge to deteriorate. Do not use pressurized air to clean cartridge. Pressurized air can damage the cartridge.
