Introduction

This user’s guide describes how to install and configure the Internet Fax and network printer/scanner kit into a fax machine. After installing this kit, the following functions are available for use:

Print through a local area network (LAN).

Send and receive Internet fax messages.

Network scanner

Gateway services

For installation into a fax machine of the printed circuit board required for the Internet Fax and network printer/scanner kit, please refer to the quick installation guide for the network print kit.

Supported systems

Supported LAN systems (topologies) are as follows.

10base-T Ethernet.

100base-TX Ethernet (Fast Ethernet)

Supported operating systems for the printer driver are as follows:

Windows3.1

Windows95/98

WindowsNT4.0

Windows2000

NetWare3.x

NetWare4.x

Note:

Macintosh and UNIX operating systems are not supported.
