Note: If you are using a 3174 Model 1L Gateway to connect an AS/400 system to a host system on a Token-Ring, the value specified for item 900 (Token-Ring Network Address of the Gateway) must match the value specified for the ADPTADR parameter on the CRTCTLHOST command.

Matching AS/400 parameters for a 3274 controller

You match the AS/400 configuration parameters with the configuration questions and sequence numbers to configure the 3274 controller. These parameters are described in the following table.

For more information about configuring the 3274 controller, see the 3274 Control Unit Planning, Setup, and Customizing Guide.

To configure the AS/400 to a 3274 controller:

vSee “Example: Connecting an AS/400 to a 3174 control unit” on page 61 for an example of connecting an AS/400 to a 3174 retail controller.

vUse the following table to connect an AS/400 to a 3274 controller.
