2.In the sidebar icon window select the icon labeled Searching Server. The Searching window is shown until all active DSE-410D Servers on the LAN are listed in the main DSE-410D Manager Window.

These items are shown in the sidebar icon window of the DSE-410D Manager:

Firmware Upgrade

This is used when downloading new firmware to the DSE-410D Server. See Chapter 8.

Virtual COM Configuration

Can be used to change the Virtual COM Settings, IP address, Port #, Flow Control.

Searching Server

Can be used to find DSE-410D Servers on the network.

Uninstall Virtual COM

Shown in Windows 2000 and XP Device Manager only. Uninstall utility for Windows 98 and Me is located in Start/Programs/Quatech/SDS/DSE-410D/ folder.

These items are shown in the right side DSE-410D Manager Window:

Server Name

The DSE-410D Servers are listed twice, once for each port.

IP Address

The IP address for both DSE-410D ports is the same for each port by design.
