If you have not already done so, connect the DSE-410D to your network using a Cat 5 Ethernet cable or to the LAN port on your computer using a crossover cable, and then apply power.

The Power indicator should light Red, the Link light should indicate which type of Ethernet connection has been made; and the Ready LED will flash indicating that you can begin configuration.
