Connection Point CP-2E Home Page

Event Log

This screen displays a list of operating events and exceptions (in chronological order) that have occurred during the operation of the Connection Point CP-2E since last started. Each event is listed with a time stamp to indicate when the event or exception occurred.

The event log records such occurrences as:

>System restart (power-on or reboot)

>Failure to get an IP address from the DHCP server of the ISP

>Failure to log in to a PPPoE connection (usually due to an incorrect user name or password)

>Attempts to access your network from the Internet

>DHCP Request Information
