2.PPPoE (DSL dynamic Mode)

If this mode is selected (see Figure 8) and settings are saved, this Router/Switch will be connected to the Internet over an always-on connection by a method provided by PPPoE. PPPoE offers simulated dial-up software like Microsoft Dial-Up Networking, which saves users’ time and effort to run the program on their PCs. And the auto-connect/disconnect feature lets the system stay in an idle state when there is no activity, but pick up the connection quickly when there is network activity.
