Disconnecting the Disk Drive

1.Use a #2 Phillips screwdriver to remove the two screws closest to the open side of the pack (Figure 3-6).

On Green RXT media, do this only for the drive—or the drive above the drive— that you are replacing (see Figure 3-7).

If you are removing this drive or the one beneath it, remove these two screws.

2.Carefully turn the pack over to its other side and repeat Step 1.

Caution: The disk drive comes loose immediately when you loosen the last two screws; be sure to keep one hand on it so that it does not fall out of the pack.

3.Gently lay the RXT media pack down, with the open side facing up.
