Appendix A • Control Panel Menus

10.ROM Revision Number

This option is extremely useful whenever it is neces- sary to verify the Firmware Revision installed in the printer. It is also useful to determine if your printer requires an upgrade.

The Maintenance Count, which is the total number of print cycles accumulated, is also displayed. This information is helpful in determining solutions to printer problems.

To momentarily view the ROM Revision and the Main- tenance Count:

1.Press the + or – buttons to scroll through the Setup Menu options until 10. ROM REVISION # appears on the LCD panel.

2.Press the Enter button to select this option. The LCD panel displays the ROM revision and Mainte- nance Count.

3.Press the Menu button to back out of the menu until the printer displays “OFF LINE”. Then, press the On Line Button to enable the printer.
