6. Maintenance and Inspection

6.5 About Gasket

NOTE

)

The gasket is used for dust-proof and dip-proof performance.

-Gasket that is used for long periods of time or once has been installed on the panel is scratched or dirty, and may not qualify IP65 dust-proofing and drop-proofing performance. Replace the gasket periodically* for stable dust-proof and dip-proof performance.

*Periodically: Yearly, or when obvious scratches or dirt is seen.

-The drip-proof performance (IP65 equivalent) is assured only when the gasket is mounted properly to the groove.

Replacement Procedure

(1)Put the Operator Panel on a horizontal place with the display side down.

(2)Remove the gasket.

(3) Insert new gasket.

NOTE

)

-Do not insert the seams of the gasket at the corners of the Operator Panel.

-Attach the gasket so that its seams come to the bottom side the Operator Panel.

(4)Make sure to check the mounting condition of the gasket.
