Turning the Power On and Off

Turning On the Power

Confirm that the connected Internet device is turned off.

If the Internet device is turned on first, it may not detect the printer. Make sure you turn the printer on first.

Make sure the printer is plugged in and press the POWER button on the printer.

The POWER light comes on.

Turn on the connected Internet device.

If the power does not come on:

Refer to Chapter 5, Troubleshooting.

Auto power on/off function:

If you do not use the printer within 30 minutes of turning it on, it automatically switches off. If this happens, the power automatically switches back on again when you select Print from the connected Internet device, even if you do not press the POWER button.
