Supplying Power to the Printer

To avoid electrical shock, make sure your hands are dry before plugging in the power cord.

Make sure you insert the plug all the way into the power outlet.

Loose connections can result in fire or electrical shock.

Attempting to use a power cord or AC adapter other than those provided can result in fire or electrical shock.

Do not use the printer’s power cord and AC adapter with any other machine.

Avoid damaging, modifying, pulling, or excessively bending the AC adapter and power cord. Do not place heavy objects on top of the power cord.

Damaged cords may short-circuit, resulting in fire or electrical shock.

Overloading the electrical outlet can result in fire or electrical shock.
