Using BJ Cartridges
You can use the following BJ cartridges with the LR1:
Use for color printing | Ideal for high volume black and | Ideal for printing high quality |
(provided) | white printing (optional) | color photos (optional) |
The BJ cartridge contains the print head (where the ink comes out) and the ink tanks. When the ink runs out, replace only the ink tank.
Follow these guidelines when using a BJ cartridge. |

■Do not place BJ cartridges in direct sunlight or in hot and humid areas.
■When placing the BJ cartridge on hard surfaces, such as a desk, place the cartridge with the print head facing up.
■Dispose of used BJ cartridges according to the rules and regulations in your area.
■Do not use BJ cartridges that have been used in other printers. If you do so, the LOW INK light function will not work properly.
