Configuration Guide

GE Energy Services

Effect:

The BECO2200 DCA will set this parameter to one character time.

Remedy:

If modem signals are required, review the section on configuring the A164PORT table (Chapter 4:) and verify the RTS Off Time is a valid time.

If modem signals are not required, set this parameter and the RTS On Time to zero.

I703: PORT rec <x>, invalid intercharacter timeout

Cause:

Record <x> of the BECO2200 DCA A164PORT Configuration Table contains an Intercharacter Timeout that is less than one character time.

Effect:

The BECO2200 DCA will set this parameter to one character time.

Remedy:

Review the section on configuring the A164PORT table (Chapter 4:) and verify that the Intercharacter Timeout is a valid time.

I704: No Configuration - deleting

Cause:

The BECO2200 DCA could not find the A164APPL table.

Effect:

The BECO2200 DCA will delete itself.

Remedy:

If the BECO2200 DCA is supposed to run, verify that the A164APPL table is included in the configuration. Also verify that the BECO2200 DCA application (A164) is included in the configuration.

I705: PORT rec <x>, no polling required

Cause:

All units configured for this port are either configured as spare devices, configured for no polling, or contain invalid configurations.

Effect:

The polling process will suspend, and no polling of devices will occur for this port. Demand scanning is available.

Remedy:

If polling is required by some or all the devices on this port, address all fatal and non- fatal error messages preceding this message.
