Using the BBE sound feature

By correcting the phase delay and distortion naturally generated by speaker systems, the BBE sound feature ensures that the sound that reaches your ears is as natural as the original sound. Human voices are clearer and music is natural and well-defined.

To turn on the BBE sound feature:

1.Press MENU, then press or until the AUDIO menu appears.

2.Press ▲ or ▼ to highlight BBE.

3.Press or to highlight ON.

To turn off the BBE sound feature:

Highlight OFF in step 3 above.

Using the surround sound feature

The surround sound feature expands the audio listening field wider and deeper to create exceptional sound quality from the TV’s speakers. The feature uses stereo signals from a TV broadcast or video input.

To turn on the surround sound feature:

1.Select the STEREO mode, if available (see “Selecting stereo/SAP broadcasts” on page 26.)

2.Press MENU, and then press or until the AUDIO menu appears.

3.Press ▲ or ▼ to highlight SURROUND.

4. Press or to highlight ON.			CH

To turn off the surround sound feature:	BASS						32
Highlight OFF in step 4 above.
	TREBLE						32
In general, you can leave your TV in	BALANCE						0
	BBE			OFF		OFF

		The StableSound feature limits the highest volume level to prevent

extreme changes in volume when the signal source is changed.

To turn on the StableSound® feature:

1.	Press MENU, then press or until
	the AUDIO menu appears.			CH
2.	Press ▲ or ▼ to highlight STABLE	PICTURE	AUDIO	SETUP			OPTION
		BASS						32
	SOUND.
3.	Press or to highlight ON.	TREBLE						32
		BALANCE						0
To turn off the StableSound® feature:		BBE			OFF
		SURROUND			OFF
Highlight OFF in step 3 above.		STABLE SOUND			ON		OFF
		SELECT				ADJUST
