1. Safety instructions
•Never fire a flash in the immediate vicinity of the eyes!
Flash fired directly in front of the eyes of a person or animal can damage the retina and lead to severe visual disorders, even blindness!
•Spent batteries must be immediately taken out of the flashgun!
Lye can leak out of spent batteries and damage
kthe flash unit.

•Protect dry/rechargeable batteries against excessive heat such as sunlight, fire and the like!
•Never throw spent batteries into a fire!
•Do not expose the flashgun to dripping or splashing water!
•Protect the flashgun against excessive heat and high humidity levels! Do not store the flashgun in the glove compartment of a car!
•Insert the flashgun in the camera’s accessory shoe and clamp firmly with the knurled nut so that it cannot slip out!
•To avoid overheating, a series of 20 flashes at full light output and short recycling times with a NiCad battery must be followed by a break of at least 3 minutes.
•Never place material that is impervious to light in front of, or directly on, the diffuser. The diffuser must be perfectly clean when a flash is fired. The high energy of the flash light will burn the material or damage the diffuser if this is not observed!
