Network >> Network Setting >> IP Address Setting
∙DHCP: Select this option when your network uses the DHCP server. When the camera starts up, it will be assigned an IP address from the DHCP server automatically.
∙Static IP: Select this option to type in IP address, subnet mask, gateway, and DNS manually. Default IP address is 192.168.10.30 if the camera doesn't connect with DHCP server. DNS (Domain Name System) translates domain names into IP addresses. Enter the Primary DNS and Secondary DNS that are provided by the ISP.

IPv6 is a newer numbering system that provides a much larger address pool than IPv4, which accounts for most of today’s Internet traffic. You can manually enter IPv6 address , enable DHCPv6 to get IPv6 address automatically.

∙Manually setup the IPv6 address: You can set up IPv6 manually by enter IP Address, Gateway, and DNS.
∙DHCPv6: If you have a DHCPv6 server, enable this option to assign the IPv6 from server. The assigned IP address will be displayed
∙IPv6 Address: A virtual IPv6 address generated by the IP camera. This virtual IPv6 address cannot use on WAN. To access the IP camera via IPv6 address, open a web browser and type in http:// [IPv6 Address] in the address bar. The [ ] parentheses mark is necessary for IPv6 address.

∙Web Page Port: Setup HTTP web page connecting port which is also video
transmitting port (Default: 80)
∙HTTPS Port: Setup HTTPS connecting port (Default:443)
Network >> Network Setting >> Web Authentication
The camera supports two levels of authentication, Basic and Digest. The Basic option having the username and password transmitted as plain text. The digest option encrypted username and password during data transmission. The default authentication is set to Digest.
