CNT-CLS 1, 2 (Output)

Two contact closure signals (Open collector type) are output through the Alarm Output connector.

1.Move the cursor to CNT-CLS 1, and select OFF, ALARM or AUX 1 with the joystick.

The factory default setting is OFF.

When ALARM is selected, TIME OUT appears. Select an appropriate duration from among 100 MS, 200 MS, 1000 MS (1 s), 2000 MS (2 s) and 4000 MS (4 s) with the joystick.

The factory default setting is 100 MS.

Note: The shorter the duration, the more frequent will be the detection output.

2.Move the cursor to CNT-CLS 2, then select OFF, B/W or AUX 2 with the joystick.

The factory default setting is OFF.

OFF: Contact closure signals are deactivated.

ALARM: Available for CNT-CLS 1 only. A motion detection signal is output.

AUX 1(2): An alarm signal is output when the camera receives a command from the controller.

B/W: Available for CNT-CLS 2 only. ON (active) is output when the camera operates in the black and white mode if ALARM IN 4 is set to B/W.

Note: It is recommended to set the connected external device to ignore the shorter alarm outputs of 90 ms or less from the camera.

COAXIAL ALARM OUT

Alarm output signals are supplied through the coaxial cable.

1.Move the cursor to COAX ALM OUT and select ON or OFF.

2.Press the CAM (SET) key.

The factory default setting is OFF.

ON: The camera sends an alarm output signal after it turns to a preset position.

OFF: The camera does not send an output signal.

Notes:

The camera ignores alarm inputs during manual operation.

Select OFF when the camera downloads or uploads the preset data.

Cleaning (CLEANING)

With CLEANING in the ON position, the camera’s built- in electromechanical contacts are cleaned at regular intervals (approx. every 7 days).

A dry contact adversely affects picture quality and motors operation.

1.Move the cursor to CLEANING and select ON or OFF with the joystick.
