2 WARNING: providing credentials by using the AUTH parameters in the configuration files is a security risk and should be avoided by entering usernames and passwords in admin menu or by allowing the user to login at startup time. Credentials entered here are in plain text and accessible by anyone who can access the TFTP server files. Credentials stored in the SIP server or in the handsets are protected.
