Laddove si desideri testare l’unità Equinox Night Vision in un’area illuminata, verificare che il coperchio di protezione della lente dell’obiettivo (in dotazione, non mostrato in figura) copra la lente dell’obiettivo (2) prima di premere il tasto ON (3). Il coperchio di protezione della lente dell’obiettivo presenta una apertura a punta di spillo per consentire l’accesso di una piccola quantità di luce onde potere effettuare una prova. In caso di svolgimento di una prova o di impiego dell’unità in condizioni di oscurità, rimuovere il coperchio di protezione della lente dell’obiettivo e attivare l’unità premendo il tasto ON. Il LED verde Power (4) indica che l’alimentazione dell’unità è stata attivata. Ricordare sempre di spegnere l’unità una volta terminato l’utilizzo. Evitare di conservare l’unità con l’indicatore ancora acceso.

ATTENZIONE: La presente unità può essere utilizzata in condizioni di freddo estremo. Tuttavia quando l’unità viene riportata in ambiente caldo, è necessario attendere circa 5 ore prima di potere utilizzarla nuovamente. Sussiste infatti il rischio di danneggiamento a causa della condensa che può accumularsi sulla circuiteria interna dell’unità.

UTILIZZO DELL’ILLUMINATORE RI

Equinox Night Vision è dotato di un illuminatore interno a raggi infrarossi (5). Esso consente la visione anche in condizioni di oscurità completa, in caso di totale assenza della luce naturale, quale ad esempio la luce lunare. Per poterlo attivare, è sufficiente premere il tasto IR(6) posizionato accanto al tasto ON. Il LED rosso IR (7) indica che l’illuminatore è acceso. Il raggio dell’illuminatore IR presenta un angolo di copertura regolabile. Per restringere tale raggio, fare ruotare il cappuccio dell’illuminatore IR (8) in senso antiorario e avanzare. Per allargare il raggio, spingere il cappuccio dell’illuminatore IR (8) indietro e ruotare in senso antiorario.

Direzionare l’unità verso un oggetto ad una distanza pari a circa 90 metri quindi fare ruotare l’anello dell’oculare (9) al fine di ottenere la massima qualità dell’immagine per la visualizzazione. Una volta
