After entering the desired pulse frequency the electrical eddy-current brake controls the pedalling resistance according to the preset values in- dependent of the speed. This means an automatical increase of the resis- tance until the training pulse is reached or a reduction in case of ex- ceeding the preset values. The program guarantees a cardiovascular training with nearly constant optimal training pulse. This is why it is ex- cellently suited for therapeutical training as well.
