11.3.2 Setting the upper and lower limit based on gender and age.

In Normal Time mode

•Press MODE once to go to Heart Rate Alert mode

•Press and hold MODE until the age is blinking on the display.

•Press ST./STP. to increase the age or RESET to decrease the age.

•Press MODE to switch to gender.

•Press ST./STP. to change the gender to female (f) or male (m).

After setting the gender and age, the watch will automatically define a training range with an upper and lower level as follow.

-Higher Limit (H) = MHR x 85%

-Lower Limit (L) = MHR x 65%

•Press and hold MODE to leave the setting, the higher and the lower limit will show sequentialy.
