Extending the cooling down time

The cooling down phase which takes place before the end of a programme can be lengthened if required. This makes the garments easier to handle.

The dryer is delivered with the extended cooling down time option deactivated. You can extend the cooling down time by 5 minutes or 10 minutes.

The option of extending the cooling down time is available with the Cottons, Minimum iron and Automatic programmes.

Follow steps A to G to programme and store in memory.

Before you begin, first ensure that:

The tumble dryer is switched off.

The door is closed.

The programme selector is at Finish.

APress the Start button and keep it pressed in whilst carrying out steps

B-C.

BSwitch the dryer on with the I-On/0-Offbutton.

CWait until the Start indicator lamp comes on . . .

D. . . and then release the Start button.

ETurn the programme selector to the Cottons Machine iron position.

FPressing the Start button alters the cooling down time.

If the Drying indicator lamp flashes once:

The cooling down time will be five miinutes longer.

If the Drying indicator lamp flashes twice:

The cooling down time will be ten minutes longer.

If the Drying indicator lamp is not flashing:

The cooling down time is not extended.

GSwitch the machine off with the I-On/0-Offbutton.

The setting you have selected is now stored in memory. You can change it again at any time.

To check:

^Make sure the dryer is switched off, the door is closed and the programme selector is at Finish and then carry out steps A to E.

The Drying indicator lamp will show you if the cooling down time has been extended.

^Switch off the dryer. The check is complete.
