11. CALIBRATION

11.1.Factory Calibration

The Model 465 is calibrated to NIST traceable standards on the 0-1 ppm range prior to shipment. A calibration certificate for your instrument can be purchased from Teledyne API if required. Teledyne API also recommends that the Model 465 be re-calibrated once a year. Teledyne API can provide NIST traceable calibration services at our factory or on-site. Please contact our Customer Service department for details on these services.

11.2.Zero Calibration

A zero calibration can be easily performed in the field, and Teledyne API recommends that this be done at least annually. See Section 7.2.3.4 for details on performing a zero calibration.
