7.4Lubrication

The bearing is delivered filled with grease and, under normal running conditions, needs to be lubricated after 10,000 hours or every other year with grease of type Castrol Spheerol APS-2 or similar quality.

When delivered, the gears are filled with an oil which is especially intended for worm gear units. The oil is synthetic and must not be mixed with mineral oils. Normally it should not need to be replaced. With this oil the gears can be used in an ambient temperature between -30 0C to +30 0C.
