Cleaning the heat exchanger

Use a damp cloth to remove any fluff. Make sure that you do not damage the rubber seal when doing this.

Check whether the cooling fins are blocked with fluff (as follows).

Danger of injury. Do not touch the cooling fins. You could cut yourself.

Prevent damage. Carefully pass the vacuum cleaner brush over the surface, without applying any pressure. Otherwise the cooling fins or the struts in front of them could become damaged.

Visible soiling:

Remove any visible soiling carefully with a vacuum cleaner using a dusting brush or a narrow crevice nozzle.
