Adjust Ringer Control

You can only adjust the ringer control when the 5235 IP Phone is offhook.

To adjust the Ringer Volume while the 5235 IP Phone is offhook:

zRepeatedly press the volume control buttons located below the speaker

to adjust the contrast. Press the up button (

) to increase volume and

the down button (

) to decrease volume.

 

Notes:

zIf the phone is in talk state, this action adjusts the volume of the handset, headset or speaker.

zIf the phone is idle, this action adjusts the contrast.

Enable a screen saver

You can specify a specific time to enable your screen saver or you can program it to turn on after a specific time period of inactivity on your 5235 IP Phone.

To enable a screen saver:

1.Open the Settings shutter.

2.Press the scroll buttons ( ) until the Screen Saver setting is listed.

3.Press the Screen Saver setting.

4.Specify the inactivity time, which will activate the backlight switch to turn off:

„Press the minute field.

„Use the on-screen keyboard to enter the number of minutes of inactivity that will trigger the screen saver to display.

5.Press OK.

6.Press the check box opposite Show screen saver image if you wish the screen saver to be displayed. If you do not press this checkbox, only the set backlight is turned on.

7.Press Save.
