Delete all old messages

Use this feature to delete all old messages. Once deleted, you cannot retrieve the deleted messages. New (unheard) messages cannot be deleted until you have listened to them.

note: If there are no old messages and you press x/delete twice on the telephone base, the system announces, “You have no old message.” When you select delete all old on the handset, the screen shows no message.

To delete all old messages at the telephone base:

1. Press x/delete on the telephone base when the answering system is not in use. The system announces, “To delete all old messages, press delete again.”

2. Press x/delete within 3 seconds. The system announces, “All old messages deleted.”

To delete all old messages at the telephone handset:

1.Press menu/select when in idle mode to enter the main menu.

2.Press CID or DIR to scroll to >answering sys, then press menu/select.

3. Press CID or DIR to scroll to >delete all old.

Press menu/select. The screen shows delete all

4.Press menu/select to confirm. The screen shows deleting... and then all old msgs deleted! with a confirmation tone.

Press off/cancel to exit and leave all old messages intact.
