External Start/Stop

Enables control from an external signal.

Note: The Input used for an external Start from a chromatograph can be set in the System Configuration dialog (see Fig. 4 on pg. 10).

Start Only

The external signal only starts an analysis. Triggering the input will not influence the acquisition in progress.

Start - Restart

The external signal terminates the analysis in progress and at the same time starts a new one. The first signal starts the analysis; the second signal terminates it and at the same time starts a new one - the so-called continuous measurement.

Start - Stop

The external signal starts and stops an analysis. The first signal starts the analysis; the second signal stops it, etc.
