CHAPTER 4

DMX Programming Basics and Quick Start

Extended Protocol

Use the Extended Protocol when you want all the movement, global and image control of Standard Protocol plus individual RGB control of individual LEDs. When using Pixel mapping channels in Extended protocol, note the following:

The Folder channel for a selected image must equal 255 to allow pixel mapping input from on the selected image layer.

Transparent Color and Background Color will be inactive since they require an image file be selected. Pixel mapping looks only at raw pixel values, not a file.
