DMX Programming Basics and Quick Start

Pixel Mapping Protocol

Pixel Mapping protocol allows you to individually control RGB color each of the LEDs with your DMX desk or a third party pixel mapping protocol. LEDs are identified by the protocol according to the array maps in the following sections.

SHOWPIX Pixel Mapping Table

A SHOWPIX array consists of 127 LEDs with each acting as a single pixel of an image. The example to the right designates the position of the channels assigned to LEDs in the Pixel Mapping Protocol. The following table shows the color assignment for the LEDs
