Disabling power
•To disable power to a single PDU, open the drop box breaker that powers the PDU, and then disconnect the PDU from the drop box.
•To disable power to a single rack, open the drop box breakers that power each of the PDUs installed in that rack.
•To disable power to a single busway, open the appropriate breaker for that busway on the corresponding electrical busway panel on the HP POD 20c exterior.
•To disable power to all racks, open the breaker for each busway on the corresponding electrical panel on the HP POD 20c exterior.
Power configurations
IMPORTANT: Different PDUs can alter the average power capacity per rack.

*The HP POD 20c is electrically limited to N = 288 kW / 2N = 144 kW.
Rack power
Power is provided to each rack by PDUs and drop boxes. The PDUs are powered by the drop boxes attached to each electrical busway. For more information about electrical busway drop boxes, see the HP Performance Optimized Datacenter 20c Maintenance and Service Guide.
