REMINGTON QFP40 Direct Vent FIREPLACE

INSTALLING GLASS

The glass assembly has a narrow metal edge at top of the frame, and wide metal edge at bottom of the frame. To install the glass assembly, lift and set the bottom T-bar extensions onto the bottom alignment pins located at the edge of firebox--refer to diagram below. With the bottom edge of glass assembly resting on the bottom alignment pins, lift up and onto the top alignment pins. Secure the assembly to zc appliance with the spring latches, two on top and two at bottom.

Flanges for fas- cia attachment, and T-bar exten- sions for setting glass onto align- ment pins.

WARNING: Use care in handling of glass assembly, do not strike or slam as this could cause breakage.

INSTALLING FASCIA

All arched and rectangular fascia attach to four flanges located two to each side of the glass frame. Insert and finger start bolts tightening with the 5/32" Allen wrench supplied with unit.

Insert bolts through these holes and into Flanges shown in picture above. (2 per side)
