Note: If installing a vertical vent/ termination off the top of the ap- pliance, the ﬂue restrictor should be used.

Flue Restrictor Instructions

1.Remove exhaust shield using a 1/4 inch nut driver by removing the four screws securing it in place (see Figure 7.7).

2.Break the ﬂue restrictor into two pieces. Do this by bending the part back and forth until it breaks (see Figure 7.8).
