Cuidado y Mantenimiento

PRECAUCIÓN

Antes de limpiar o reparar esta unidad, se recomienda desconectarla del tomacorriente.

1)No use gasolina, bencina, diluyentes ni ningún otro producto químico para limpiar esta unidad, ya que estas substancias pueden perjudicar la terminación de la unidad y deformar las piezas de plástico.

2)Nunca trate de limpiar la unidad vertiendo agua directamente sobre la superficie de la misma, ya que ello puede deteriorar los componentes eléctricos y el aislamiento de los cables.

Remoción y limpieza del filtro de aire

Si el filtro de aire se tapa con suciedad/polvo, la corriente de aire se verá restringida y ello reducirá la eficacia de la unidad. El filtro de aire se debe limpiar cada dos (2) semanas. Es posible que se requiera una limpieza más frecuente dependiendo de la calidad del aire interior.

1)Saque el filtro de aire. Sujete la lengüeta del filtro de aire.

2)Tire del filtro hacia afuera y luego hacia arriba. Figura 34.

3)El polvo/la suciedad que estén tapando el filtro pueden ser sacados utilizando una aspiradora en la zonas sucias.

4)También se puede lavar el filtro en agua tibia jabonosa mientras se le frota suavemente con un cepillo. Se recomienda el uso de un detergente suave (jabón para lavar vajilla).

5)Enjuague bien el filtro usando agua limpia. Deje que se seque antes de volver a instalarlo en la unidad.

6)Vuelva a colocar el filtro de aire.

7)Se pueden obtener filtros de repuesto a través del Departamento de Repuestos al Servicio del Cliente.

PRECAUCIÓN

Nunca haga funcionar la unidad sin el filtro de aire instalado ya que esto puede ser perjudicial para el artefacto.
