Replace pilot injector with the one supplied in the conversion 2. Valve Regulator Replacement kit (#35 for Propane, #62 for Natural Gas).

NOTE: The injector is ONLY replaced if you are convert- ing to another gas. It is not replaced for a change from top to rear vent.

Replace pilot hood, snapping into position.

Remove main burner orifice using a 5/8" wrench.

Disconnect any electrical cords and turn off gas supply to unit before proceeding if converting fuel on an appliance already fully installed.

Remove upper and lower back shield. Loosen the set col- lars on the extension rods with the 3/32 in. Allen wrench. Remove the rods and adapter cap.

Figure 6.5 Replace orifice with the proper size as indicated below for your gas type and venting. Re-install burner. Slide burner neck into shutter and over orifice. Re-install burner pan locators on left and right side of the burner. Secure with one screw to each side.

Replace logs, glass door and front.

IMPORTANT NOTE! The orifice supplied with the con- version kit is for installations with vertical rise. If your appliance was fitted with the rear vent kit, the correct conversion orifice was supplied WITH THE REAR VENT KIT.
