Rotate tank cap counterclockwise and lift up to remove cap.

Turn cap (H) upside down to serve as a measuring cup.

Using cap, measure detergent following the chart:

For carpet,

Fill cap to fill line (I) (5 ounces) with HOOVER Carpet/Upholstery Detergent.

Do not use any type of wax with your ‘SteamVac’ cleaner.

To assure proper performance, it is rec- ommended that only HOOVER detergent be used. It is specifically formulated for use with the cleaner.

CAUTION: Detergents contain Anionic and Nonionic Surfactants. Avoid con- tact with eyes and skin. In case of contact with eyes, flush with cold water for 15 minutes. In case of con- tact with skin, wash with water. If irri- tation persists, call a physician. For medical information (U.S.)
