Rotate tank cap counterclockwise and lift up to remove cap.

Turn cap (H) upside down to serve as a measuring cup.
Using cap, measure detergent following the chart:
For carpet,
Fill cap to fill line (I) (5 ounces) with HOOVER Carpet/Upholstery Detergent.
Do not use any type of wax with your ‘SteamVac’ cleaner.
To assure proper performance, it is rec- ommended that only HOOVER detergent be used. It is specifically formulated for use with the cleaner.
