5 Parameter Settings

5.1 Configuring the DSL

Function

The DSL standard used by the HG612 must be the same as that used by the upper-layer equipment so that the two can communicate with each other. Currently, multiple DSL standards are available.

Path

Choose Basic > DSL.

Parameter Description

Table 5-1 describes DSL parameters.

Parameter

Description

Modulation type

It specifies the working mode of the DSL. You have the

 

following options:

 

z G.Dmt

 

z ADSL2

 

z ADSL2+

 

z T1.413

 

z VDSL2

 

z ALL: If this option is selected, the system automatically

 

selects a proper mode to set up a connection.

To save the settings, click this button.
