Software Upgrade

To upload the selected upgrade file, click this button. The

 

 

 

system uses the specified upgrade file to upgrade the

 

 

 

firmware of the HG612.

 

Table 6-5 describes multicast-upgrade parameters.

Parameter

Description

Multicast upgrade

It specifies whether to enable the multicast upgrade.

 

 

Multicast IP address

It specifies the IP address used for the multicast upgrade.

Multicast port number

It specifies the port number used for the multicast upgrade.

 

 

Table 6-6 describes BT agent parameters.

Active

To enable the BT agent function, click this button.

 

 

Deactive

To disable the BT agent function, click this button.

 

 

TPS file name

It specifies the TPS file name.

 

 

Browse

To find the TPS file, click this button to display a dialog box.

 

In this dialog box, find the TPS file.

Upload TPS File

To upload the selected TPS file, click this button.

6.3 Diagnosis

Function

Through the diagnosis function, you can check whether the HG612 is connected to the LAN, the DSL, or the Internet.

The fault management function is only used for the VDSL PTM mode.

Path

Choose Maintenance > Diagnose.
