Pour recevoir les émissions, le récepteur radio doit être situé dans la portée d’émission. Puisque ces émissions se trouvent sur la bande de très hautes fréquences (VHS), canaux de ligne de site, la portée actuelle varie, suivant le terrain et les obstructions.

6 ENREGISTREMENT DE LA GARANTIE

Pour assurer l’étendue totale de la garantieetónou les mises à jour de

produit, l’enregistrement de votre produit ou Grundig doit être complété le plus tôt possible après l’achat ou le reçu. Pour enregistrer votre récepteur radio, veuillez sélectionner une des méthodes suivantes :

Mettez le commutateur à glissière sur la position WX. Il y a sept canaux NOAA. Utilisez le bouton NOAA WX à 7 positions pour choisir le canal de météorologie ayant le signal le plus puissant dans votre région (généralement seulement un des canaux). Pour recevoir les ‘alertes’ météo, laissez le récepteur radio en marche avec un niveau de volume à votre choix et sélectionnez la position ALERT avec le commutateur étiqueté SIREN/OFF/ALERT. Le récepteur radio restera silencieux jusqu’à ce que l’émission spéciale ‘alerte’ se produise. Le service NOAA transmet des essais d’alerte tous les mercredis entre 11 heures et midi.

UTILISATION DES LAMPES DE SECOURS

Placez l’interrupteur LIGHT/OFF/FLASH sur la position FLASH ou

LIGHT.

UTILISATION DE LA SIRÈNE

Pour utiliser la sirène, placez l’interrupteur SIREN/OFF/ALERT sur la position SIREN.

UTILISATION DE LA PRISE D’ÉCOUTEUR

Branchez une paire d’écouteurs (non compris) de votre choix qui ont une prise mono ou stéréo de 1/8 pouces. Lorsque vous utilisez des écouteurs, le haut-parleur intégré sera mis automatiquement hors circuit. Remarquez que les écouteurs stéréo fonctionneront et que vous entendrez du son des deux côtés, bien que les émissions FM ne soient pas reçues en stéréo.
