Um Übertragungen empfangen zu können, muss sich das Radio im Empfangsbereich der Sendestation befinden. Diese Übertragungen finden über VHF-Kanäle mit Sichtverbindung statt, daher schwankt die tatsächliche Reichweite abhängig von Gelände und Hindernissen.

Mit dem Schiebeschalter die Stellung WX wählen. Es gibt sieben NOAA-Kanäle. Mit dem NOAA WX-Regler mit 7 Positionen den stärksten

Um eine volle Garantieabdeckung und Produktaktualisierungetónzu

gewährleisten, sollte die Registrierung Ihres Produkts von oder Grundig so bald wie möglich nach dem Kauf oder Erhalt vorgenommen werden. Wählen Sie zur Registrierung des Radios bitte eine der folgenden Methoden:

Wetterkanal im Gebiet wählen (im Allgemeinen nur einer der Kanäle). Um Wettermeldungen (‚alerts’) empfangen zu können, das Radio in der gewünschten Lautstärke eingeschaltet lassen und den Schalter SIREN/OFF/ALERT die Stellung ALERT bringen. Das Radio bleibt still, bis eine der speziellen Wettermeldungen gesendet wird. Der NOAA- Dienst überträgt jeden Mittwoch zwischen 11:00 Uhr und Mittag Probemeldungen.

EINSATZ DES NOTLICHTS

Den Schalter LIGHT/OFF/SIREN in die Stellung LIGHT oder FLASH bringen.

ALARMSIRENE

Den Schalter SIREN/OFF/ALERT in die Stellung SIREN bringen.

KOPFHÖRERBUCHSE

Einen Kopfhörer Ihrer Wahl (nicht mitgeliefert) mit einem Mono- oder Stereo-Stecker von 1/8-Zoll einstecken. Beim Einstecken des Kopfhörers wird der eingebaute Lautsprecher automatisch abgeschaltet. Anmerkung: Mit Stereo-Kopfhörern wird der Klang auf beide Seiten übertragen, auch wenn der Empfang nicht in Stereo erfolgt.
