No Ice Production - Possible Cause

4. Control Board

a) No power to float switch or not reading float switch condition.

 

b) No power to inlet water valve.

 

 

 

Shutdown

 

 

1. Infrared Sensor Bin Control

a) Dirty lens.

 

 

 

b) Defective.

 

c) Control board (no power to IS).

2. Mechanical Backup Bin Control

a) Tripped with bin filled with ice (9-beep alarm).

 

 

 

b) Proximity switch stuck closed.

 

 

 

c) Actuator paddle does not move freely.

 

 

 

d) Control board dip switch failure.

3. Pump-Down Solenoid Valve

a) Defective (stuck open).

 

 

4. Control Low-Pressure Switch

a) Defective (stuck closed).

 

 

5. Magnetic Contactor

a) Contacts stuck closed.

 

 

6. Control Board

a) No power to IS.

 

b) X1 relay defective.

 

 

 

c) In alarm.
