Problem

Possible cause and solution

During use, an unusually large amount of steam escapes from parts of the steam oven where it does not usually.

The door is not properly closed.

￿Close the door.

The door seal is not seated properly.

￿Press the door seal all the way around the door to make sure it is fitted evenly.

The door seal is damaged, e.g. cracks.

￿Replace the seal.

A whistling sound is heard when the appliance is turned on again.

When the door is closed, the pressure equalizes, which can cause a whistling sound. This does not indicate a defect.

The "Start at" and "Ready at" functions are not displayed.

These functions are not available for the "Descaling" program.

The oven interior is too hot, e.g. at the end of a cooking program.

￿Open the door and let the oven cool down.
