Heating Modes available only in Single or Upper Ovens

The following illustrations give an overview of the heating activity with each mode setting. The arrows represent the heat source for specific cooking modes.

COOKSMART™ – This mode combines pre- programmed microwave energy and convection temperatures. CookSmart settings cook in approximately one-half the standard cooking time. See Pages 14 – 21 for operation.

 

 

MICROWAVE – The microwaves enter through the plate in the top of the oven. Select from ten power levels when microwaving. See Pages 22 – 27 for operation.

MICROBROIL – This mode combines microwave and broil settings.The intense heat from the upper element gives excellent top- browning and microwaves shorten the total cooking time. Microbroil is best for tender meat, poultry and fish that is more than 1-1/4inches thick. See Pages 28 – 29 for operation.
