The Data Agent should be installed as a cluster resource and managed by Microsoft Cluster Server so that only one Data Agent is running at any one time. Only one Data Agent should be running to ensure that the nodes have a consistent view of the PowerVault storage system. Use the following steps to install the Data Agent as a cluster resource:
1.Confirm that Dell OpenManage Managed Node Agent is installed on both nodes.
2.On both nodes, click the Start button, point to Settings, and click on Control Panel.

NOTE: After installing the Dell OpenManage Managed Node Agent as a generic resource in the cluster, the cluster software is responsible for managing the Data Agent. If you try to stop the Data Agent in the Control Panel or in the Agent Configura- tor, the cluster will try to start the Data Agent automatically. Therefore, you should stop or start the Data Agent only by using Cluster Administrator to bring the Managed Node Agent resource
