Standard CMOS Features

Select “Standard CMOS Features” from the main menu to configure the drives installed in your system. The following screen shows the Disk Drives menu:

The following table describes the parameters found in this menu.

Hour: 0 to 23

Minute: 0 to 59

 

 

Second: 0 to 59

 

 

 

IDE Channel 0 Master

Lets you configure the hard disk drive connected to the

(Show the Status:)

 

master port of IDE channel 0.

None

 

To enter the IDE Channel 0 Master setup, press e.

HDD or CD-ROM Number

 

The IDE CD-ROM is always automatically detected.

 

 

 

 

IDE Channel 0 Slave

Lets you configure the hard disk drive connected to the

(Show the Status:)

 

slave port of IDE channel 0.

None

 

To enter the IDE Channel 0 Slave setup, press e.

HDD or CD-ROM Number

 

The IDE CD-ROM is always automatically detected.

 

 

 

 

IDE Channel 1 Master

Lets you configure the hard disk drive connected to the

(Show the Status:)

 

master port of IDE channel 1.

None
