Duralink64 Standard Driver for NetWare

Restarting the Server

After installin g the Standard driver and configuring the ports, you

must restart the server.

1In the Internetworking Configuration menu, press Esc.

2In the Exit INETCFG box, select Yes, and then press Enter.

3In the Add Initialize Commands to autoexec.ncf box, select Yes,

and then press Enter.

4The next screen indicates that the configuration will be

activated. Press Enter.

5At the server console type down and then press Enter.

6Type restart server and then press Enter.

7OPTIONAL. After the server is restarted you can review the

current settings. Type config at the console prompt, and then

press Enter.

Troubleshooting Tip

At system reboot, I receive a message that the NIC configuration contains

invalid settings. What should I do ?

1Follow the instructions at the server prompt.

2Document each of your selections.

3Return to inetcfg.

4Use the Internetworking Configuring menu to access those

screens you must modify.
