Troubleshooting Tips

Driver fails to load or

fails to recognize the

DuraLAN NIC

Check the BIOS settin gs. Sometimes th e bus

master is disabled by default; therefore,

enable the bus master.

Persist ent prob lems with

an adapter card set to

IRQ 15.

This occurs in Novell NetWare. Either

dis able IRQ 15 or change the Adap tec

DuraLAN NIC to another interrupt. Please

refer to your Novell documentation.

System hangs at boot up. Make sure the DuraLAN NIC is seated

properly in the PCI slot.

Check your system vendor for the latest

BIOS.

LED does not l ight when

running autonegotiation

in the Diagnostics utility.
