Setting Up a Web Browser to Access the Modem Web Pages

SETTING UP A WEB BROWSER TO ACCESS THE MODEM WEB PAGES

To access the Megabit Modem 410F or 420F Web pages through a Web browser (see page 6 for Web browser versions supported), the Web browser must have these settings:

•Proxies disabled (see this page for Netscape or page 31 for Internet Explorer)

•frequency to automatically update the Web page with current information selected (see page 32 for Netscape or page 33 for Internet Explorer)

Disable Proxies

Disable the Proxies for Netscape:

1Open the Web browser.

2Select Edit, Preferences, Proxies.

3Select Direct connection to the Internet.

4Click OK.
